A tragic incident in Henderson, North Carolina, has left a community in mourning after a fatal stabbing early Sunday morning claimed the life of 26-year-old Jashia Wright. Authorities have confirmed that another woman, Naisha Wynn, 24, has been charged in connection with the case.
According to the Vance County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 2:40 a.m. to a reported stabbing on Vincent Hoyle Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Wright in the front yard of a residence suffering from multiple stab wounds. Emergency responders transported her to Maria Parham Health, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Investigators at the scene detained Wynn, who was later formally charged with first-degree murder following further inquiry. She is currently being held at the Vance County Detention Center as the investigation continues.
