Lara M. (Sarmanian) Roche Obituary 2026 | Milton MA Death: The community of Milton and surrounding areas is mourning the loss of Lara M. (Sarmanian) Roche, who passed away on Easter Sunday at the age of 39 after a courageous battle with cancer. Formerly of Stoneham, Lara died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.

Lara was widely known for her warmth, compassion, and extraordinary ability to make others feel valued and deeply loved. To many, she was a source of comfort and joy—someone who created a sense of home wherever she went. Above all, she cherished her role as a mother to her three children, Paige, Caroline, and Luke, whom she loved fiercely. Her husband, Kenneth Roche, remained her devoted partner throughout her life and illness.

Born to Michael Sarmanian and the late Donna Sarmanian, Lara shared a close bond with her siblings, Jena and Michael. Her deep love for family shaped every aspect of her life, and she carried those values into her own home, creating a nurturing and joyful environment for her children.

A graduate of Bentley University, Lara built lifelong friendships and demonstrated a strong work ethic early on. She began her professional career at Yahoo, where she worked for 18 years. During that time, she also earned her MBA from Suffolk University, balancing her career and education with determination and grace.

Lara found beauty in everyday life—whether through decorating her home, enjoying beach vacations, or sharing thoughtful moments with loved ones. She is survived by her husband, children, father, siblings, extended family, and a wide circle of friends whose lives she touched profoundly.

Visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth Church in Milton on April 10, 2026, followed by a funeral Mass on April 11. Donations in her memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Lara’s legacy of love, strength, and grace will be remembered always.
